Miriam Beloglovsky and Jessie Frazier are thought leaders on children's thinking. Across more than fifty combined years in early childhood education, they developed the Revisiting Journeys Framework, a published way of returning to children's thinking, and to our own, over time. The Studio is where they practice it with you.
For decades, we supported educators through books, research, keynotes, workshops, and consulting. Everywhere we went, we noticed the same quiet truth. The most thoughtful, dedicated educators weren't looking for more strategies or another workshop to attend and forget. They were longing for a place where professional learning could continue through reflection, relationships, and revisiting. A space to think. A space to question. A space to grow alongside others.

Her words stayed with us.
We carried them into every book we wrote, every keynote we delivered, and every consulting engagement that followed.
Over time, those words became more than a memory. They became a lens through which we viewed our work. The longer we carried them, the clearer one truth became:
That realization changed what we were looking for.
We weren't searching for another program or another workshop. We were searching for a place where educators could return to their questions, revisit their thinking, and grow in the company of others.
When we couldn't find that place, we built it.
When you join the Studio, you are not signing up for a content library. You are entering a year-long mentorship relationship with two people who have spent more than fifty combined years in ECE classrooms, research, consulting, and pedagogical leadership.
You'll practice the framework's four parts, Notice · Revisit · Chronicle · Design, with your own documentation and your own questions, in a community of educators thinking alongside you
.
When you bring your documentation, your questions, and your uncertainty into the Studio, you are bringing them to people who have sat with those same questions themselves.
This is not mentorship that tells you what to do.
Mentorship is an invitation to revisit your own thinking, trust what you already know, and continue growing as an educator.
Thought leader on children's thinking · Educator · Author · Researcher · 35+ years in ECE · Co-creator, Revisiting Journeys Framework
For more than 35 years, Miriam Beloglovsky has worked alongside children, educators, and learning communities, not as an outside expert, but as a fellow learner.
She is widely recognized for advancing Loose Parts Play Theory and for authoring the award-winning, bestselling Loose Parts series. Her work has influenced how educators around the world think about materials, environments, and the conditions that invite children's thinking to flourish.
The books tell only part of the story.
The deeper work has always happened in early childhood ecosystems, sitting on the floor beside children, listening closely to educators, and thinking together about what learning makes possible. It is in these everyday moments that the ideas behind her books, keynotes, and professional learning experiences have taken shape.
That same commitment led to Loose Parts for Children with Diverse Abilities, expanding the conversation to inclusive learning ecosystems where every child can participate, belong, and contribute. Those ideas also inspired the Carolina Connections furniture collection, developed in collaboration with Guidecraft and Kaplan Early Learning, to translate the principles of Universal Design for Learning into environments that support curiosity, agency, and meaningful participation for all children.
Today, through the Chronicles of Children's Thinking and the Revisiting Journeys Framework, her focus is children's thinking: helping educators notice it, revisit their own, and design spaces where both can grow.
— Miriam Beloglovsky
That belief is the foundation of the Studio. Inside it, Miriam does not present to you. She thinks with you.
Thought leader on children's thinking · Professor of ECE · Chair, San Diego Reggio Roundtable · Author · Pedagogical Consultant · 15+ years in ECE · Co-creator, Revisiting Journeys Framework
Jessie Frazier came into this profession not because she was looking for answers, but because she was drawn to the questions.
She is a professor of early childhood education, a pedagogical consultant, co-author of Revisiting Journeys, and Chair of the San Diego Reggio Roundtable. Her work centers on children's thinking: how children build and test theories, and how educators can follow those theories instead of replacing them.
Before the books, before the research, there was the quiet, everyday work of learning alongside children.
With more than fifteen years in classrooms and program administration, she has something no credential fully conveys: a felt sense of what this responsibility actually asks of a person. The attention it requires. The way it fills you up and wears you down, sometimes in the same afternoon.
Jessie specializes in long-term inquiry projects, the kind that follow children's curiosities wherever they lead and ask educators to trust the process even when the destination is not yet visible. She does not position herself as an expert who delivers knowledge. She is a co-constructor, someone who learns alongside children and educators as they revisit ideas and deepen understanding over time.
This way of being grew from a lifetime of learning alongside children, and it sits at the heart of the framework she co-created.
Inside the Studio, she meets your questions the way she meets children's questions: with curiosity, patience, and the understanding that learning deepens through reflection, relationships, and revisiting.
— Jessie Frazier
Each week, they join members of the Studio not to deliver content or position themselves as the experts with all the answers, but to think alongside educators. They ask questions, revisit ideas, share stories from practice, and create the kind of conversations where new possibilities emerge, for teachers, for coaches and for the leaders who shape whole programs.
The Studio is built on the belief that the deepest professional learning happens not through information alone, but through reflection, dialogue, and the collective wisdom of a community committed to growing together.
You bring your real documentation and chronicles. Your hardest questions. The moment from last week you cannot stop thinking about.
You notice children's thinking, and trust what you see
Your documentation deepens, not because you do more of it, but because you look at it differently
Your confidence in your pedagogical decisions grows, not because someone told you that you were right, but because you did the thinking yourself
You belong to a community of educators carrying the same questions and committed to the same values
Not just a certificate. Not just a content library.
A genuine shift in how you see your work, your children, and yourself.
Somewhere in your professional journey, you chose to do more than teach. You chose to notice, to reflect, to revisit your own thinking, and to let this work matter.
That choice makes you exactly the educator the Studio was built for, whether you're in the classroom, coaching others or leading a program.
The Studio opens January 2027.
This is the year you stop carrying it alone.
“Every time you return to your practice, you see more than you did before.”
